Skeptic

Eliza Lee Cabot Follen first published this children's story in 1839. Its hero, a boy named Harry, questions whatever he is told and will not accept anything at face value. As he moves from one episode to the next, his doubts are put to the test, and he learns to trust his own judgment and to value the pursuit of knowledge and understanding.

The book is intended for children of all ages.
