Sky Blues

Sky Baker is out, but in Rock Ledge, Michigan, a small town where everyone knows everyone, he has long found it easier to keep a low profile. As his senior year begins, he wants to finally live openly. He plans to ask his crush, Ali, to prom in a grand gesture at the school's beach-themed party, and he has thirty days to pull it off.

Sky's plan becomes public when an anonymous hacker sends a cruel, hateful e-blast revealing it to the whole school, and it spreads fast. Sky is ready to quit school and leave town for good. His classmates, however, give him a reason to stay and fight back. They turn his thirty-day countdown into a school-wide search for whoever sent the message.

This debut young adult novel follows Sky as he tries to hold on to the visibility he has worked for. Will he see his promposal through, or will the pressure of small-town life keep him from being who he really is?
