Snow Bear

It is the middle of a freezing winter, and a little bear is wandering through the snow looking for somewhere to live. Every cozy spot in the woods already belongs to another animal, and there seems to be no room for a bear.

Then Snowy Bear notices a warm, flickering orange glow in the distance. It comes from a house, and inside is a lonely little girl. Perhaps this is where he belongs.

Tony Mitton wrote the text for this gentle board book, and Alison Brown, who illustrated I Love You Night and Day, drew the pictures. It is a story about friendship and finding your place, set against a wintry backdrop, and it suits sharing with young children at Christmas or Valentine's Day.
