Spookie

A fierce storm rolls in on a pitch-black night, and young Spookie has to wonder whether she will come through it safely. She is the baby bat at the center of this story, which is part of the Simply Small series. Like the other little animals in the collection, Spookie faces a problem that feels far too big for her size and must find a clever way forward. The bright, bold art and simple text are aimed at small children who are just beginning to explore ideas about courage and problem solving.
