STORIES

This collection of stories provides a fascinating glimpse into the lives of its main characters – many of whom were left forgotten, after returning from time in Vietnam to re-join civilian life. The stories are insightful, funny and at times, frightening – hitchhiking across American States, seeking any opportunity to escape a far-reaching employment depression and navigating a powerful drug culture. It’s a ‘Hero’s Journey’ of unknown destinations, relationships and rough sleeping, but with light at the end of the tunnel for the brave or Amor fati.
