Storm Front
About This Book
Storm Front is the second book in a spin-off series centered on Alex Morgan, whose father, Dan Morgan, is an operative for Zeta. The series comes from Leo J. Maloney, a writer of black-ops thrillers. Ares, a dangerous rival to the Zeta group, is stirring up conflict around the world and building toward a violent climax. Zeta believes Ares's next strike will target a cruise ship in the Coral Sea, so it sends two undercover agents, Alex Morgan and Alicia Schmitt, to stop it. The agents can move among the crew and passengers without trouble, but so can the heavily armed, well-trained extremists aboard, who overpower the ship's security and take control of it. As a massive storm closes in off the Australian coast, Alex and Alicia are badly outnumbered and outgunned, with no way to reach safety. Alex works to reinforce her remaining defenses while the situation descends into chaos, and she does not know that someone close to her could tip the balance either way. Ares believes it holds every advantage, but it has overlooked one crucial detail: Alex is a Morgan, and Zeta agents should never be underestimated.
