Stradivari Formula

What if the greatest violin maker in history really did have a secret formula? Two guitar makers stumble onto it by chance. Suddenly they are targets of groups determined to keep the secret hidden, while another group is fighting just as hard to make it public.

The pursuit takes the two innocents from London and Paris to Sardinia, Phoenix and Ottawa as they try to unravel the mystery of Stradivari. When the Art and Antiquities Fraud division of MI6 gets involved, along with Russian hackers, they begin to wonder whether the situation is more than they can handle.

For three centuries, instrument makers and players have tried to reverse-engineer Stradivari violins and work out what made them so exceptional, even among the fine craftsmen of his era. Until now, there have only been theories.
