Styx
About This Book
Styx tells the story of the goddess of the underworld river that carries her name. It begins a generation before the events of Hekate. Styx is the firstborn child of Titans and is honored as the first of her kind, until she is overshadowed and forgotten among her many siblings, the Oceanids and the Potamoi. She grows up in a world simmering with paranoia and an unspoken fear of Zeus. Disillusioned with her parents and her vain, unkind siblings, she learns to hide the anger that this disillusionment sparks. She finds comfort and sisterhood in her cousin Asteria, and together they train in the arts of creation and magic. While they search for their divine purpose and their place in the Titanomachy, they experience the joy of true love and the fierce resilience that comes with motherhood.
