Summer Wheels

In this picture book, a man known as the Bicycle Man lends out bikes to the children of the neighborhood, and he charges nothing for it. Two of those children, Lawrence and Brady, spend the whole summer riding them.

Then a new kid arrives and takes advantage of the Bicycle Man's generosity. The incident leads Lawrence and Brady to see something about the man they had not realized: he cares even more about the kids than he does about the bikes.
