Summertime Guests

The hotel's storied past and famous visitors have long made it a place of gossip, but a mid-June weekend brings a fresh sensation when a woman dies after a fall. Her death sends ripples through the lives of four people who have little in common. Riley has come to plan her wedding, though she dreams of something smaller and more personal than the grand event her domineering future mother-in-law is orchestrating, and her fiancé seems content to let it happen. Jean-Paul, the hotel's manager, is trying to hold together his marriage and his newly blended family, yet must now throw himself into the scandal unfolding at work. Claire, newly widowed, returns to the city hoping to reconnect with a lost love from thirty years ago, wondering whether he is still the man she remembers. Jason's romantic weekend with his girlfriend veers off course, leaving him confronted with questions he is not ready to answer. Across three bright, sunny days, the truth about the dead woman and a secret she kept is revealed, and these four strangers find their paths tangled in unexpected ways.
