Take off

Kai arrives at Sun Haven hoping to ride again after a long break from the water. The surf here is excellent, and at Screamers you can count on barrels that carry you through the tube. The catch is that a group of local surfers controls the break and guards it closely. They will let Kai join the lineup only if he first faces one of them in a contest. Kai has always resented competitive surfing and the money that comes with it, and he sees himself as a surfer who answers to no one. Still, if he turns down the challenge, he risks losing the waves he came for.
