The Annihilation Protocol

The Annihilation Protocol is a thriller about a secret syndicate called the Thirteen. For centuries it has quietly infiltrated governments and steered world events, and it is now ready to come out of the shadows and take control of the entire world. Its power exceeds that of any nation or army. Standing in its way are FBI Special Agent James Mason and his longtime friends.

Mason and his team have just stopped a global pandemic when they learn that a deadlier plot is already underway. An unknown enemy has made enough lethal nerve gas to destroy every major city. Their only lead is a cryptic message written in the blood of a man whose body was found entombed behind a concrete wall.

When another victim turns up in the middle of Central Park, Mason realizes the killings are personal. Working out what connects the victims is the key to preventing disaster. Eight million lives in New York City are at stake, and Mason must rely on his old friends and a new partner he is not sure he can trust.

The team has to track down an agent codenamed Scarecrow before poison gas fills the streets. If they fail, the Thirteen may carry out its genocidal plan.
