The Apprentice Storyteller

Viola Alerion is a celebrated storyteller in the Haldrian Empire who simply wants to be left alone. Her past has followed her for years, and she has never been able to rest. When a boy arrives insisting that she take him on as an apprentice, she refuses at first, then gives in, though she knows that travelling with him could put his life at risk.

On the road, Viola learns that she is not the only one with lessons to offer. The nameless boy has his own knowledge to share, but Viola is an unwilling pupil. The story asks whether she can open herself to new possibilities, take hold of the principles that might change her life, and face what she has been running from. It also follows the boy, who keeps secrets and shows powers that seem impossible. The novel blends fantasy with elements of space opera.

The e-book edition includes "Viola's Guide to Achieving the Impossible," a workbook meant to help readers take the first steps toward their own goals. It draws on principles from the DreamBuilder course and is available only through the e-book, where its link is hidden inside the text.
