About this book
Most self-help books hand you a plan to follow. This one asks you to run your own experiment. Chris Corsini's The Audacity Experiment has no fixed path and no formula to get right. What it asks for is the nerve to step outside your comfort zone and treat yourself as an explorer, using your intuition to work out what actually works for you. The tools on offer range from breathwork, boundary-setting and rituals to journaling, shadow work and cord-cutting, with a little magic thrown in. By the author's own warning, it may get weird.
The book is built around five phases of transformation. In the first, Question Everything, you challenge your assumptions and work to repattern and rewire your mind. Feel It All turns to the body, with ways to regulate your nervous system and build your capacity for joy and resilience. Let Go deals with shame, guilt and grief, and with the habit of people-pleasing that often grows out of them.
The last two phases look outward. Choose Yourself is about building energetic boundaries and finding your flow, and Do the Damn Thing is about anchoring your vision in the real world. Throughout, QR codes in the text open interactive sessions, conversations meant to shift your perspective, and embodiment practices led by a range of teachers, artists and thought leaders.
The approach is deliberately loose: take what resonates and leave what doesn't. It is pitched as a permission slip to trust yourself, take up space and experiment your way toward a life that feels like your own.
