The Bullet

Diane Connors, a devoted physician, has made a discovery that could reshape the world, but she has been running private research trials and the news has leaked. People who would rather bury the findings for their own gain are now after her. Out of options, she turns to Joe Quinn, her former husband, a man she would rather not ask for help.

Joe has since married Eve Duncan, and the two have built a calm life in the countryside. When Diane's request forces them to weigh their safety, and even their marriage, against a larger good, their peace ends. Eve soon finds herself caught in a tangle of murder and lies as powerful opponents work to keep the truth hidden.

The mission is clear: keep Diane alive long enough to share what she has found. The story is told at a brisk pace and suits readers who enjoy suspense driven by conspiracy and close danger.
