About this book
The Corridor follows a housing-building family whose company is very old and has been led by executives across many generations. The story opens at a major launch of ultrasmart homes in Western New York, where an odd occurrence on a parcel the firm acquired for the project starts to alarm its leaders.
The phenomenon grows serious and threatens tens of millions of dollars in home sales, possibly the company itself. Investigations stretch across years and eventually reach toward heaven, hell, and whatever may lie between. The lead characters decide to enter what they have uncovered, hoping for personal enrichment, though they do not understand the risk. Their decision is driven by a determination they cannot fully explain.
The book is clean and nonviolent, written to be enjoyed by the whole family, and it combines intrigue with thought-provoking action in an unusual storyline. It moves the reader in and out of time, a form of time travel that works differently here because there is no time inside the corridor.
