The Del

A tale of steamy romance, elegant settings, and rich historical detail. IN THE EARLY morning hours of November 29, 1892, a woman's body was discovered lying on the blood-drenched steps outside the famous Hotel del Coronado. To this day no one knows the truth of who she was, why she was there, what made her take her life or if it was taken from her. And most of all—what keeps her haunting the hotel over a century later. For travel writer Grace Hannan, the historic Hotel del Coronado is just another resort to review. But when a ghost enlists her assistant in unraveling the mystery of why she died, her experience becomes anything but ordinary. Drawing on courage she isn't aware she has, Grace joins the spirit of Kate Morgan in a riveting adventure that takes them back to the male-dominated Victorian era, where they witness a shocking life neither expected. Inspired by true events.
