The Devil's Boneyard

Ben Savage used to wear a Texas Ranger's badge. Now he runs a saloon in Buzzard's Bluff, a hard Texas town where drifters, swindlers and outlaws on the run all end up sooner or later. He has taken over the Lost Coyote, where manager Rachel Baskin is relieved to have a boss who knows how to handle rowdy customers. Savage has put the badge behind him, but he may be the only man with the nerve and the skill to stand in Hazzard's way. This is the second Ben Savage novel from the Johnstone family of Western writers, and it is a fast, gunsmoke-heavy story of a showdown between an ex-lawman and a killer.
