The End

Eli's world falls apart when his beloved Selene dies in circumstances that nobody can explain. Overwhelmed by grief, he drifts into a secretive cult that claims it can prove life continues after death and offers him a slim chance of seeing Selene again.

The cult's teachings draw him in and its rituals disturb him, yet somewhere inside its devotion lies the truth about how Selene spent her last days. Eli has to face whether she died in a tragic accident or whether her death fulfilled a sinister prophecy.

The novel follows his harrowing slide into the blurred territory between faith, madness and the afterlife, and it challenges what readers assume about the world and about what follows it.
