The Hunter

Duchess Rhiannon of Solis is spending a summer at Vara Palace, far from her uncle Emperor Stelios, who is busy fighting a war on the island of Pern Coen. The distance gives her room to breathe, but a marriage to her uncle's steward is already waiting for her in the imperial capital. Before she can accept that future, a stranger arrives with information tying her to the island across the channel, and his accusations shake her sense of who she is.

As Rhiannon confronts the past she has been kept from and the betrayal of a relative she trusted, she is drawn into the hands of the island's most feared outlaw, a man the islanders call The Hunter.
