The Idol Effect

Katayi Sitali is the daughter of the biggest record producer in the world, but she cannot stand the music industry. She has always looked up instead. Her YouTube channel, Konstellations with Kat, lets her escape into the stars, and she dreams of studying astronomy. Her family summers at a beachhouse on Kkum island had always been private, until the Park twins arrived and changed everything.

Sailor Park is South Korea's golden boy, known for his flawless image and captivating voice. He has been on hiatus since a tragic scandal. Life as an idol has left him weary and jaded, though he hides it behind a practiced smile and is a master of performing. From the moment he meets Katayi, her unfiltered honesty cracks the mask he has built.

The two are forced to spend the whole holiday together, and people say things get messier up close. Sailor has a secret, and Katayi is not telling the whole truth. Things have not been the same since that summer, and neither of them is who they used to be. The story begins at the start, somewhere off the coast, where two worlds collided.
