The Javelin Program

Dr Aspen Greaves joined the Javelin Program, the first human effort to settle deep space, expecting to open their eyes on a working colony on a faraway planet. Instead, Aspen wakes five years short of the destination, aboard a damaged ship littered with dead astronauts, puzzling secrets, and an AI that offers almost no help.

Nothing in Aspen's training covers this. To survive, repair the vessel, and learn what went wrong, Aspen has to follow a trail of mysteries that stretches back to Earth. If they fail, neither they nor the five thousand passengers still asleep in their care will ever reach a world to live on.
