The List

Renny Jacobson has just finished law school and is working at a Charlotte firm, where he envies the partners and the expensive cars and large houses they enjoy. When his father dies, Renny learns he has received an old, hidden inheritance, and he assumes his fortunes are about to improve.

The bequest also comes with membership in a secret group that granted it. Renny soon finds that the group is reshaping him in ways he did not expect. His own safety and that of the woman he loves now depend on being freed from a supernatural burden tied to the group's list.
