The magic bean tree

Determined to end a long drought, a young Quechua boy leaves home alone on a mission to call the rain back to his dry land. His journey is repaid with a gift of carob beans, a crop that later becomes treasured throughout Argentina. This legend-style picture book tells the tale in a simple, storybook voice.
