The Missing Sister

The six D'Aplièse sisters have each traced their own roots, but one question remains open: who is the seventh sister, and where is she? Their only lead is a picture of a star-shaped emerald ring. The story moves from the vineyards of New Zealand to the Irish countryside and draws on the Pleiades, the star cluster of Greek myth.

Their search takes them through New Zealand, Canada, England, France and Ireland, and brings them together in a shared effort to complete their family. Along the way, the book uncovers a tale of love, courage and sacrifice that began almost a century earlier, when a group of young women risked everything to change the world around them.

The Missing Sister is the penultimate volume in Lucinda Riley's Seven Sisters series, a saga about six adopted sisters raised by their adoptive father, Pa Salt. The series concludes in The Story of Pa Salt.
