The New Guy

Hudson Newgate has been called New Guy on every team he has played for. He got the nickname in Chicago, it followed him to Vancouver, and it comes with being traded again and again. Brooklyn is his last chance, especially after a poor season, and he intends to keep his head down, shoot the puck and put the game first.

What he has no plans to do is get involved with the other new arrival in his life, Gavin, a hot athletic trainer who lives in his building. Gavin is a single dad with responsibilities, and he needs this job with Hudson's team. Hudson's arrogant agent, who is also his father, would be furious to hear that his client is dating a man. The team, for its part, wants goals and not a media circus.

The trouble is that Hudson and Gavin turn out to be terrible at resisting each other.
