The NOVA System

Gavin's life takes a sharp turn when an attractive woman begins to show interest in him, only to reveal herself as an operative. He is pulled into a shadowy environment where nothing can be taken at face value and deception, mind games and hidden plots are everywhere. Although this unfamiliar world is built on falsehoods, it pushes Gavin to discover more about his own identity and character than he could have uncovered alone. For now, his main goal is simply to stay alive, a task complicated by the NOVA system lodged in his head.

Threats come at him from abroad and from within his own country, and they seem to appear with increasing frequency. Gavin hopes to lean on Alex as he works to find his footing, but she is dealing with troubles of her own that make it harder to know how much he can trust her.

Since the NOVA system took hold, Gavin has started to know things and learn things he should have no way of knowing. What exactly is NOVA, what does it do, and why is everyone chasing it? Most puzzling of all, why did it end up with him?
