The Prodigy

Finn Taylor, known as Hacker, is the quiet, clever brother in his MC. He would rather spend his time with his bike and his computers than with most people. That changes when he meets Scarlett Crawford, the curvy new clerk at Gatsby Books, a shy bookworm who makes him laugh like nobody else. Soon he is inventing reasons to stop by the shop. When he learns that someone is harassing her, his calm falls away, and he makes it clear that she is his and that anyone bothering her will answer to him and his club.

Scarlett never expected a biker to come with her new job. Finn stirs up feelings in her that she did not plan for, and around him nothing else seems to matter. Meanwhile, a strange man keeps appearing wherever she goes. Once Finn finds out about him, events escalate quickly and take turns neither of them anticipated. By the end, the future Scarlett imagines for herself looks nothing like the one she started with, though she reflects that fairy tales often unfold this way.

The story is set in Silver Spoon Falls, Texas, where wealthy families enjoy money, good looks, influence, their MC, and their brothers. The town has few eligible single women, but the determined men there are not discouraged as they search for their own curvy soulmates.

The book is the first in the Silver Spoon MC series by Nichole Rose and Loni Ree. The authors describe it as a lighthearted take on MC romance, and the relationship moves fast, with attraction flaring almost immediately.
