The Relationtrip

Logan is a reclusive author, and Sloane is a sociable travel agent. On paper they have nothing in common, but a vacation five years ago threw them together, and now, as they prepare for their yearly get-together, something new is starting to crackle between them.

Sloane's version of events begins with a call from Logan, the friend she never expected to have, asking that their annual midwinter trip be rebooked. His answer is Belize: an adults-only resort, leaving in two days. Sloane is delighted, since she badly needs the break. When she spots him waiting at the airport, her pulse gives a brief stutter. She dismisses it quickly. Her fiancé walked away and left her to tell their families and friends he would not be coming to the wedding, and she has no intention of returning to dating, least of all with her best friend.

Logan has never told Sloane what he does for a living, and she has no idea how he feels about her. He wants her to know everything about him and wants her in his life for more than one trip a year. In his head, he has already started writing a future for the two of them, and his crush on her is at least two years old. The problem is figuring out how to say so. This standalone is a slow-burn travel romance for readers who enjoyed Emily Henry's Beach Read and The People We Meet on Vacation, Lacie Waldon's The Layover, or Christina Lauren's The Unhoneymooners.
