The Second Coming

Mini plans fairytale weddings for a living, yet she knows better than anyone that fairytale marriages do not exist. The early magic of her own marriage to Shyam is long gone, and she tries to fill the gap with chocolate. She daydreams about a dream lover, but she feels overweight, past her prime and short on confidence, and an affair with a gorgeous man seems out of the question. Or does it?

A job takes her to Mumbai, where the heir of a former royal family is set to marry a Bollywood starlet and Mini must organise a wedding on almost no budget. There she meets Rustom, who runs the city office and is handsome, polished and a known charmer of women. If he likes chasing women in a certain kind of skirt, Mini decides, she will get herself into that kind of skirt.

Is Rustom the dream lover she has been waiting for, or will Shyam pull her back into the dull routine of their marriage? Either way, this comic novel promises plenty of heat, trouble and laughs, and not all of the jokes are on Mini.
