The Third Nanny

Janey has not been in touch with her sister Kelly since Kelly left home eight years ago. That silence ends when a disturbing letter reaches her. Before Janey can reply, Kelly vanishes again, leaving one lead: Redemption, Wisconsin, where Kelly once worked as a nanny. Determined to retrace her sister's path, Janey takes over that nanny position.

The family she goes to work for is hiding things, and each discovery Janey makes pulls the story into deeper tangles. She soon begins to fear that she may be the next to disappear. Redemption has a troubling past, and the longer Janey stays, the clearer it becomes that nothing in the town is what it seems.

The novel is a standalone psychological thriller set within the Secrets of Redemption series, which has won awards. It can be read without knowing the rest of the series.
