The Transformer

The Transformer is the life story of Kris Gethin, who grew up in a small town in Wales and for years was barely in control of his own life. At 23 he felt he was going nowhere. Then he went to watch a bodybuilding competition and was amazed by the physiques of the huge men on stage. He decided that if he was ever to fulfil his potential, he would have to transform himself in the same way. He soon found that each transformation changed not only his body but also his life.

From Wales his path led to Australia and then the United States, where he rose to the top of natural bodybuilding while helping others along the way. He settled in Boise, Idaho, as Editor-in-Chief of the online bodybuilding publication Bodybuilding.com. There he made videos and wrote articles and books that helped millions of people work toward their ideal bodies.

Then disaster struck. Forced to abandon his life and home in the US, he watched his world unravel and ended up back in Wales, once again without control of his life. The book asks whether he could rebuild from scratch. The answer begins with an unexpected phone call from Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, which opens a new chapter in India. There Gethin transformed the bodies of stars such as Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham.

After becoming a household name in India, he returned to the UK and US to create a supplement line, KAGED MUSCLE, which became the highest-rated product across the globe within seven months of its launch. He continues to travel the world, educating, certifying and inspiring people through motivational seminars and practical workshops.
