The Tripoint

When Joanna, a young, cynical, chainsmoking, Chicago-raised Polish heiress, attends the funeral of her grandfather, a decorated World War II veteran, the last thing she expects to find is a life of war secrets he had hidden from his family. Now, with her closest family dead, she discovers she is being hunted by the same clandestine Russian organization that terrorized her grandfather and his home country of Poland for the past seventy years. With the help of her childhood friend, Emil, she decides to leave her comfortable life in America and travel to the northern tripoint, a remote part of her ancestral fatherland where Poland, Lithuania, and Russia meet. It's up to her to decide whom to trust along the way, what she's willing to sacrifice to learn the truth about the past, and how she can decode the secrets her grandfather kept from her to save the country - and herself.
