The Witcher
About This Book
Geralt has settled into a gentler life at the Corvo Bianco vineyard. With Yennefer beside him, he is enjoying good wine and good company, and the usual routines of a witcher have faded into the background. That peace is threatened when a descendant of the estate's original owner steps forward with a claim to the property. Geralt must choose. He can take what he is offered and go back to life on the road, or he can pick up his sword at the heir's request and fight to keep his home. Wine and blood both attract people who want more than their share. This volume collects issues #1 to #5 of the Dark Horse series The Witcher: Corvo Bianco. It was made in close collaboration with CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the Witcher video games, and draws on Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher stories. Bartosz Sztybor, whose earlier Witcher comics include Wild Animals and The Ballad of Two Wolves, wrote it. The art is by the Italian comics artist Corrado Mastantuono, known for Tex, Nick Raider and Magico Vento.
