The Wright Brothers

The Wright Brothers were driven by a love of invention, and flight drew their keenest interest. This title belongs to the recently launched Mini Movers and Shakers series, whose cast of lively, relatable characters keeps returning to the idea that setbacks can be overcome. Their stories show that a challenge that looks impossible at the start can still be met through persistence and effort.

The series was created to encourage children to think ambitiously and to put real work into their goals. Its books are presented in a graphic style that is easy for young readers to follow yet still holds the attention of adults.

The Mini Movers and Shakers books are aimed at children roughly 3 to 11 and older, and suit boys and girls, early readers, primary school students and toddlers. Educators, parents and teachers will also find them useful, and the series is designed to be collected.
