The Yellow Note

Conor Hudson sees herself as a plain, unremarkable person, and she is far from comfortable at Westmore Academy, a school for gifted students in Savannah, Georgia's historic district. Its pupils come from enormous fortunes and are unusually good-looking. Conor's one goal is to stay out of sight. Everything changes on a rainy day when she finds a mysterious note in her locker.

The note's writer, along with two close friends, Shay Tucker, who is fiercely loyal, and Noah Grayson, who is kind but puzzling, helps Conor open up to the people around her. Her outlook on life starts to shift as she makes new friends and even has a boyfriend or two. Her circle widens, and she begins to see herself the way others do, as someone far from ordinary.

Eventually Conor learns who her anonymous pen pal is, and the discovery surprises her. She also uncovers the reason behind the love letters, which brings her back together with two people she had believed were gone for good. Once the last piece falls into place, she sees life differently than ever before. The whole story starts with one small yellow note.
