Thieves' Gambit

Rosalyn Quest was brought up in a famous family of thieves, where one commandment outranks the rest: never trust anyone. She has built a glittering life of wealth and betrayal and is finally ready to walk away from it, until her parents are abducted and she is pulled back into the game.

The only way to free them is the Thieves' Gambit, a lethal contest for the world's rising thieves, and its winner is granted a single wish. Rosalyn must outmaneuver rivals who would stab her in the back at the first opportunity, including a bitter nemesis. The stakes grow more tangled when a charming, handsome boy begins courting her affections, and she starts to suspect he may be hiding the most dangerous secret of all.

A major movie adaptation is also in the works.
