Three pieces

Three Pieces gathers three plays by Ntozake Shange. Spell #7 follows a group of performers whose lives and romantic entanglements overlap in ways that feel both heightened and intimate. Boogie Woogie Landscapes is written as a verse play that moves through a character's inner thoughts and memories rather than a straightforward plot. Bocas, the third play, completes the collection and continues its interest in relationships, identity and the emotional lives of Black women.
