True North

Eliana, twelve, has been told all her life that the kingdom's dragons were wiped out fifty years ago. That belief crumbles the morning she comes face to face with a young dragon in the woods. The creature's father has vanished since the last full moon, and Eliana promises to help him search.

The pair travel to the castle hoping the King can advise them, only to find him short-tempered and overwhelmed by troubles of his own. His treasure has gone missing, and a tribute owed to the Overking falls due within weeks. Should the King fail to pay, his realm will pass to the Overking's careless nephew.

With only a few weeks left, the girl and the dragon must recover what has been lost. Their task demands bravery and a touch of magic, because the fate of the kingdom, its people, and its dragons depends on it.
