What has to happen to be able to understand who you truly are? Adya thought that life would be simpler once she Awakened, but she finds it difficult to know who she is supposed to be, especially around her unAwakened friends. She struggles to connect with other students until Lir returns to take her on a trip over winter break. When Adya thinks she's finally found the path for this lifetime, Myra returns and steals away two of the most important people in her life.
