Two Worlds Collide

Emily is eighteen and, from the outside, her life looks enviable. Her father runs a billion-pound law firm, and her boyfriend, who is older than her and very good-looking, works in the same business. She has a bright future and close friends. Yet Emily is unhappy. Just as she prepares to leave for university at the end of summer, a series of events throws her plans off course, and she learns that none of them were accidental.

Her father has been hiding things from her, and those secrets concern her late mother. With her head full of unanswered questions, Emily is sent away to stay with an aunt in a small town in Cornwall, a move meant to keep her safe. There she meets Jackson, a twenty-two-year-old lifeguard with unkempt hair. He carries a troubled past of his own, and Emily finds herself pulled toward him by the mystery surrounding him and his striking green eyes.

In a short time Emily is on the run from a danger tied to a history she never knew she had, while also trying to solve a puzzle of her own: who Jackson Turner really is, and what he is concealing.
