Unbeweaveable

Mariah Stevens thinks she has her life under control. She's the Book Review Editor for Spirit Magazine, and, at 29, the youngest editor there. Spirit Magazine folds and for the first time in her life she's unemployed. With her 401K gone, she still counts on her savings to keep up her fabulous lifestyle. Six months come and go and she's faced with the hard decision of removing the weave that she's worn since she was 16 and leaving her beautiful apartment in Manhattan to move back in with her recently divorced sister and estranged mother in Houston. Houston transports her back to her tumultuous childhood and, without the security of her weave, she flounders. When she uncovers a secret about her past, she takes a journey to find the truth and, in doing so, finds true self.
