Unseen

Elwyn has built her life around going unnoticed, a habit she either picked up from the criminal syndicate that raised her or inherited from her invisible companion. That companion is sharp, unpredictable, and unlike most imaginary friends, it has grown more substantial the longer it has stayed with her.

When Elwyn leaves for Amblewick, a small town where she hopes to live quietly and without incident, her talent for being overlooked stops working. Two rival tricksters, each searching for the ideal pawn, take an interest in her. Through fate or sorcery, she finds herself travelling with a merciless assassin, a prince who has wandered off his intended path, and a young girl who is hiding something unsettling.

The group is odd and mismatched, and they may be able to save several worlds, provided they manage not to kill one another first.
