Untethered Magic

Otto Schneider is a wizard detective who has always relied on magic to stay out of harm's way. That reliable protection now turns against him, and his own survival is in doubt. His partner may be in even greater danger if he cannot keep himself alive.

His to-do list for the day is ambitious. He has to escape from an underground cell run by a secret organisation, recruit a sharp-tongued, cynical werewolf as an ally, and go into the demon realm to rescue a young girl.

The story is fast-paced and action-packed, with a lot of humour driven by sarcastic dialogue. Its vivid imagination and lively characters give it a sense of realism despite the supernatural setting.
