User and Task Analysis for Interface Design

This study seeks to identify the way users do certain tasks or operate different products. It is done before a product is designed or when a product needs to be redesigned based on usability testing results. Every step of the task analysis process is covered in detail with figures and example products. Checklists and forms are provided so the reader can use them in their own testing procedures.
