Vampire Dormitory 9

Mito has no family to turn to, so she survives on the streets by passing as a boy. When Ruka, a vampire whose affections belong entirely to fictional two-dimensional girls, rescues her from a risky situation, he makes a proposal: she can become his bound servant, supplying blood whenever he wants it, and in return she can live with him in the boys' dormitory.

Mito's safety depends on no one learning that she is a girl, so every day in the dorm brings new hazards, and the vampire himself is one of them. Ruka has no idea she is female. He fusses over her constantly, determined to refine the blood he considers unpleasantly male, and that devotion gradually changes into something more. As real feelings take shape between them, a dangerous romance between a girl disguised as a boy and an fixated vampire begins.

This is volume nine of the Vampire Dormitory manga by Ema Toyama, the award-winning creator also known for Shugo Chara!. Readers who enjoyed Crimson Spell, Black Bird, or He's My Only Vampire may find it appealing.
