Vanishing

Quinn has grown up hearing that she doesn't quite fit in. Her dreams feel uncomfortably vivid and her instincts run unusually sharp. Her life changes when she and her closest friend are taken to a boarding school where supernatural beings study and live. There, the traits she once tried to hide begin to look like abilities, and her sense for danger becomes something she can use. Almost as soon as she sets foot on campus, a werewolf fixes his attention on her, and she can't tell whether he will be the best thing or the worst thing that happens to her.

Suren has always believed he understood how the world works: a harsh place that punishes anyone who lets down their guard. Now he sees a hidden layer of darkness, with predators waiting unseen, more frightening than anything he had imagined. These creatures are driven by hunger to seize, possess and dominate. At Rogue Hollow Academy, the greatest threat he faces is not a creature from the shadows but a person who has decided that Suren belongs to him.

Both leads tell the story, so readers follow the unfolding events from two perspectives, one drawn to the school's magic and the other to its menace.
