Very Monkey Bedtime

A young narrator assumes that bringing home one pygmy marmoset will be no trouble at all, since he is so small and his mum is unlikely to mind. Soon, though, a parade of other monkeys follows him inside: six howler monkeys, six macaques, ten capuchins and two large baboons. The trail they leave behind, including peel on the floor, toothpaste in odd places and marks on the walls, grows harder to hide.

Written in rhyme by Alex English and illustrated by Pauline, this picture book is meant to be read aloud at bedtime. The expressive pictures carry much of the humour alongside the verse.
