Mathis, Mississippi has long served as a convenient base for the drug trade, with many hidden sites where narcotics are stashed and moved. When a newcomer supplier arrives determined to seize control of the whole network, a police officer is given the job of stopping him and, ideally, dismantling the trade in the area. His investigation starts to produce results, but it also draws him into something far larger: a threat that could condemn all of humanity to Hell. With a small group of allies, he must halt an evil force before it can finish what it set out to do.
