This anthology gathers short fiction across a range of genres, opening on a stage where two teenagers discover their own voices. Elsewhere, a young girl pieces together her heritage and slowly finds a place within a community, while a sister lives with the ghosts of the loved ones she has lost.

The collection is edited by Shannon Gibney and Nicole Chung and brings together fifteen adoptee authors, some already bestselling and widely acclaimed, others just starting out. Its central premise is that no two adoptions are alike. Taken together, the stories show how varied, layered, and far-reaching adoptee experiences can be.
